Rock music of the 70's, 80's, 90's and today
Biography
|
Oscar is The Pop Machine Band's bass
guitar player. He also plays a little keys on the side. Oscar was
born and raised just north of the border in Brownsville, TX. It was
in this tight-knit neighborhood where Oscar began his love affair
with music back in 1975. Oscar has starred in other great bands,
Naked Alley & Shotgun Sally & has toured the United States. He
has an ear for the low-end and a feel for the fatness of the bass,
"I knew I wanted to be a bass player the first time I heard Geddy
Lee (Rush) and I will never quit making music."

Jake~ Jake is
The Pop Machine Band's lead guitar player. Jake has been playing
guitar for 15 years, half of his life. His first debut with a
working, cover band came when he joined The Pop Machine Band. Jake
is meticulous, striving to be note-perfect all the while driving the
crowd insane with his unique riffs. He can make the strings scream
through a AC/DC tune or slide off the frets with a little blues.
Jake is crowd-crazy and loves the attention, loves his guitar as
much as his woman and eats, dreams and sleeps music, the perfect
combination for a lead guitarist.

LeAnn~LeAnn is The Pop Machine Band's lead singer. Although she is
the minority in a band dominated by males, LeAnn rules the stage
with her free spiritedness and sexy attitude. LeAnn is gifted with
a strong, rich and versatile voice. Her influences range from Patsy
Cline to Joan Jett and everything inbetween so it's not a surprise
that she can bring down the house with Ronnie James Dio's (Black
Sabbath) 'Heaven & Hell' and then move the soul of the audience with
Steve Perry's (Journey) 'Don't Stop Believing,' only to belt out the
blues of Tracy Chapman moments later. The guys love her sultryness,
the girls love to sing along and she was born to sing.

Brian~ Brian is the
percussionist of The Pop Machine Band. Born in Minnesota and a
graduate of the Minnesota School of Music, Brian is a drummer's
drummer. He loves to rock the drums while being the band's 2nd lead
in vocals. He was raised by a musical father who taught him the art
of rhythm and harmony. He typically prefers to play rock music but
can keep time with the twangiest of country and the deepest of R &
B. He is inspired and inspiring on stage and he is one of those
drummers you love to watch 'bang on his drums all day.'
